Community Guidelines

A Community Shaped by Reverence

The Kingdom Way exists to restore reverence through careful examination of Scripture.

This community is not built on performance, argument, or personal platforms. It is built on humility before God’s Word.

“Let all things be done decently and in order.” — 1 Corinthians 14:40 (ESV)

These guidelines are not restrictions for their own sake. They exist to preserve a stabilising and encouraging environment for everyone.

1. Scripture Is Our Authority

We welcome questions, discussion, and examination. However, Scripture is final.

Interpretations may be explored and discussed. The authority of God’s Word is not negotiable.

“The sum of your word is truth, and every one of your righteous rules endures forever.” — Psalm 119:160 (ESV)

Where disagreement arises, we return to the text.

2. Speak With Humility

We approach one another as fellow learners under Scripture — not as opponents.

“Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up.” — 1 Corinthians 8:1 (ESV)

Avoid:

  • Mockery
  • Dismissive language
  • Personal attacks
  • Assumptions about motives

If correction is needed, it will be anchored in Scripture and delivered with care.

3. Ask With Honesty

Questions are welcome. We encourage questions that seek understanding rather than provocation.

Before posting, consider:

  • Am I seeking clarity or trying to win an argument?
  • Am I reacting emotionally, or examining carefully?
“The heart of the prudent acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge.” — Proverbs 18:15 (ESV)

4. Avoid Speculation Beyond Scripture

Where Scripture speaks clearly, we will state that clearly.

Where Scripture is silent or less explicit, we will avoid unnecessary speculation.

We aim to distinguish between:

  • What the text says plainly
  • What requires careful interpretation
  • What remains uncertain

Reverence includes restraint.

5. Preserve Biblical Language

We intentionally preserve biblical terminology such as Grace, Covenant, Repentance, Sanctification and Justification.

These words carry theological depth and should not be replaced with diluted alternatives.

Where clarification is helpful, it will be provided — but the language of Scripture remains central.

6. No Shaming or Condemnation

Scripture addresses sin directly:

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” — Romans 3:23 (ESV)

Correction is part of Christian growth. Shaming is not.

We address actions and ideas through Scripture. We do not attack individuals.

Restoration remains the aim.

7. On Biblical Manhood Discussions

Because this platform has a particular interest in biblical manhood, some discussions will address:

  • Covenant responsibility
  • Sacrificial leadership
  • Order within creation

These discussions must remain:

  • Scripture-anchored
  • Respectful toward women
  • Free from cultural hostility
  • Free from dominance language

Our aim is restoration, not reaction.

“Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.” — Ephesians 5:25 (ESV)

8. Moderation

To preserve clarity and order:

  • Content that violates these guidelines may be removed.
  • Repeated disregard for community standards may result in restricted participation.

Moderation decisions are made to protect the community’s stability and focus.

“Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt.” — Colossians 4:6 (ESV)

9. What This Community Is Not

This is not:

  • A debate forum
  • A platform for political campaigning
  • A space for personal brand promotion
  • A substitute for pastoral counselling or crisis support

It is a place for careful biblical examination and growth.

10. Our Shared Aim

We gather here under Christ’s authority.

“If you love me, you will keep my commandments.” — John 14:15 (ESV)
We examine Scripture. We ask carefully. We correct gently. We grow steadily.

May everything done here strengthen understanding and restore reverence.
