Questions & Answers

Ask With Honesty. Examine With Reverence.

Questions are not a threat to faith. Unexamined assumptions often are.

Throughout Scripture, God does not rebuke sincere inquiry. He invites understanding.

“Come now, let us reason together, says the LORD.” — Isaiah 1:18 (ESV)

If something in Scripture confuses you, troubles you, challenges you, or simply requires clarification, you are welcome to ask.

This is a place for careful examination — not argument, not reaction, not performance.

How We Approach Your Question

Every question is:

  • Read carefully
  • Examined in light of Scripture
  • Considered within historical and covenant context
  • Responded to with clarity and humility

Scripture is final. Our interpretation remains open to careful refinement.

Where there are multiple faithful interpretations, we will present the evidence and explain our reasoning. Where Scripture speaks clearly, we will state that plainly.

Our aim is always to stabilise and encourage while remaining faithful to God’s Word.

“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.” — 2 Timothy 3:16 (ESV)

What to Expect

  • Not every question will receive an immediate response. Careful examination takes time.
  • Some questions may require follow-up clarification.
  • If your question overlaps with an existing article or response, we may direct you to that material.
  • In certain cases, a question may become the foundation for a full article or series exploration.

Note: We do not provide personalised counselling or crisis support through this platform. If you are facing immediate personal distress, please seek appropriate pastoral or professional support in your local community.

Before You Submit

You may find it helpful to consider:

  • Have I read the surrounding context of the passage in question?
  • Am I asking what the text says — or reacting to how it has been presented elsewhere?
  • Is my question about interpretation, application, or both?

These reflections are not requirements. They are invitations to deeper examination. The Bereans were commended for this posture:

“They received the word with all eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so.” — Acts 17:11 (ESV)

Our Commitment to You

  • We will not shame sincere questions.
  • We will not dismiss careful concerns.
  • We will not speculate beyond Scripture.
  • We will return to the text.
  • We will explain our reasoning.
  • We will remain open to continued examination.

Above all, we seek obedience to Christ.

“If you love me, you will keep my commandments.” — John 14:15 (ESV)
